The independent jury, made up of academics, practitioners and journalists, made the international innovation award for technical solutions enabling quantitative and qualitative progress for production lines in large enterprises.
Prof. Michael Kleinert from the university ZHAW Wädenswil, Switzerland, described the RONDO CS in his speech as an innovative solution that had fully convinced the jury. Outstanding on the RONDO CS was the turning and curling unit, which allows a very high capacity, without affecting the dough properties negatively. In addition to the modular design, enabling customers to align the industrial croissant line optimally to their needs, the jury was also convinced by numerous intelligent detailed solutions and the pioneering hygiene concept.
On September 14th, Dr. Michael P. Witzak (CEO RONDO Group) and Werner Mathis (Research and Development), accepted the award at the booth of the Central Association of the German Bakers).
